Island each summer evening.
Walk Across the Dam
Take advantage of the walking pathway across the Lake
Murray Dam (Dreher Shoals Dam) and enjoy the
spectacular views of Lake Murray. Parking is available at
either end of the dam in the SCE&G Recreation Areas.

Billy Dreher Island
Lake Murray's only State Park consists of 348 acres and 12 miles of shoreline.
Open from 6-6, some of the facilities include playground, shelters, picnic
tables, camping, vacation villas, hiking trails, fishing, and boat ramp.
SCE&G Recreation Sites (South and North end of dam)
Facilities include picnic tables, shelters, public restrooms, pets not allowed.
The South end offers swimming and the North end offers a fishing pier.
The cost is $3.00 per car or $45 for a Season Pass.

Monday - Friday: 11:00a-8:00p,
Saturday - Sunday: 10:00a-8:00p
