"The Wizard of Oz" at Columbia Marionette Theatre
The Columbia Marionette Theatre presents a charming adaptation of L. Frank Baum's
classic, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Follow Dorothy as she is carried by a menacing
tornado to the magical Land of Oz. Meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion
and travel to the Emerald City. Watch out for the Wicked Witch; she is following Dorothy's
every move! CMT's production captures all of the adventure and excitement as Dorothy
explores this strange new world on her quest to get back home. Performances every
Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and the third Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
Tickets are $5 each and are available online or at the door.

Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commision presents “Movies In The Park”. Free
admission and family friendly events. Movies begin just after sunset (around 8:15). Bring
your own blanker or chair, food and beverages. No alcoholic beverages allowed. May 11th
is “Dolphin Tale” at Sandhills Park in Swansea.

oeuvres. Musical entertainment by The Going Commando Band. Ticket price includes a

10th Annual Baby Fair at Columbiana Centre sponsored by LMC

the 10th Annual Baby Fair sponsored by Lexington Medical Center! Baby Fair is perfect for
the expectant family and new new mothers alike. Visit booths to learn about services and
products designed to make your life as a new mother easier. Acitivities include:
Giveaways, Grand Prize Drawings, Vendors, Demonstrations, Children's Activities, Diaper

The Town of Lexington Farmers Market is primarily intended as a farmer/grower and local
artesian market that uses a community-friendly atmosphere to promote, support and
encourage local production, while educating citizens on the benefits of eating local, fresh
produce and supporting local artists and the Certified SC program. Every Saturday from

Worship.  This event is free for families and includes a workout for all ages and levels

May Day at the Shoppes of Flight Deck
It's time once again for May Day at the Shoppes at Flight Deck, the 3rd annual Kids Fun(d)
raiser event! This year, we will celebrate Spring, Children and Pets and we'll have a really
good time while we do it. May Day is a great family friendly, pet friendly day filled with loads
of fun kid's activities, entertainment, foods, pet shows, performances, mascot, puppets,
kids activities, contests, great vendors and crafters, along with participation from lots of

Mud Mania
Join the folks at Seven Oaks Park at Mud Mania for a day of good but not so clean fun! Kids
are challenged to climb, crawl, jump and slide their way through seven wet and very mucky
obstacles!
This FREE event includes: Mud Mania Obstacle Course (ages 6-13); Mini Mud Obstacle
Course (ages 5 & under and children with disabilities ages 13 & under); and a Giant Sand
Castle Area. Concessions & T-shirts will be available for sale. Registration starts at 10:00
a.m. Participants must be present to register. A signed waiver must be completed by a
parent or legal guardian for each child attending the event. Waivers are available in
advance at all ICRC Parks and online at

SHOES AND SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED to participate in Mud Mania! Wear old clothing and
